How do I add comments or assessments to an item that is shared with me in the ePortfolio?

When a student shares an item with you, you can always leave comments.

You can only add assessments if:

Add a comment

  1. Click the Explore tab.
  2. Click the arrow next to the item you want to comment on.
  3. Click View. The following window opens:
  1. Click Add Comment to leave a comment on the item.

Add an assessment

You can only add an assessment when the student has attached a rubric to the item and has granted the proper permissions when they shared the item.

  1. Click the Explore tab.
  2. Click the arrow next to the item.
  3. Click View. The following window opens:
  1. Click Add Assessment.
  1. Select a rubric that the student has attached to the item.
  2. Click OK.

Fill in the rubric.

  1. Click Save.

The assessment can be found under the Assessments heading for the item.

Presentation

  1. Click the Explore tab.
  2. Click the arrow next to the item.
  3. Click View. The following window opens:
  1. Click Review Presentation.

A screen opens where you:

  1. Can add a comment.
  2. Can add an assessment.

Comment per item

If the student selected the Comments Enabled setting, an Add Comment button will appear under each item. With this you can comment on all individual items.

  1. Click Add comment. Add your comment directly to the comment box.
