What's New? October 2020

On 23 October 2020, a new version of Brightspace (20.20.10) was released. Read more about what's new in this release below.

New plagiarism check: Urkund

From the second semester of this academic year, the plagiarism tool Urkund will replace Turnitin. From then on, Turnitin will only be visible with reading rights. Urkund is already integrated in Brightspace.

Changes

For security reasons it is no longer possible to upload files with the following extensions in Brightspace:

.cgi
.cmd
.hta.
.jar
.lib
.pl
.pm
.ps1
.sh
.vbscript

 It is still possible to upload a file with one of the extensions mentioned above if you upload them as a zip-file.
